XII. Goal
You're from Princeton??! I raised a questioning eyebrow at him.
I guess I am. He replied, eyeing the logo in his blazer.
Now that explains why you're just so full of yourself. I said, drinking my coffee. Students from that school are known to have this kind of `air` above their heads that make them think they're superior among all others.
Despite the many side comments I had inside my head, he didn't seem offended at my remark cuz he just chuckled. He looked around the shop and noticed the paper I was reading a while ago. He picked it up and started reading, just like what I did.
So you're from Eastern High, eh? He asked, his eyes still on the paper.
I ignored his question then played with the moist again. He peeked at me when I didn't answer, so he saw my bored expression which made him fold the paper into half and finally putting it down on the table.
Hey, would you like to go somewhere else? Somewhere more...private? He asked, smiling at me like he meant no harm. A group of girls from my school just stepped in and I saw them looked at our direction. They seemed to be sensing `something` going on. Silly freshies.
You know what I think? I leaned closer to him, making him smile bigger and ensuing murmurs from the girls who just came in. I think you should get the hell out of this shop before I wring your neck in fury. I squinted at him, hoping it could make him take my threat seriously.
Wow. He blurted out, leaning closer to me too. I'm scared. He faked a terrified expression though his eyes were full of mockery in them. I glared at him while he stared back, then he broke into a sweet mocking smile.
Jas?? Someone from my side spoke and I almost fell from my seat when I saw who it was.
Jake??! I asked stupidly. He nodded, clutching the strap of his backpack.
Can we...talk? He asked, looking at me and Seth alternately. Please? He begged. I was about to reply when someone answered for me.
Where are you taking my girlfriend? Jake and I both looked at him in shock, and I can't tell who the more surprised party was.
Keep dreaming, idiot. I snapped, rising from my seat then nodded to Jake. We walked to his car parked near the shop, without a word. We leaned at the side of his ride for a few minutes before he finally broke the silence.
So he's the new guy..? He asked, or more like said, without looking at me.
No. Not really. I don't even know him. He glanced at me for a fraction of a second then back to the road again.
Come on. You don't have to spare my feelings. I can pretty much live with it...I guess. He sighed and all I could ever do was roll my eyes. I still love you Jas. And I don't know if I could ever stop. He said, looking straight into my eyes as if what he said is the only real thing in this world.
If you have nothing else to say, I'd better go. I said, nonchalant to the thing he just said. I started to walk away but he grabbed my arm and I was forced to look at him again.
You want me to drive you home?
No thanks. I'm used to going home alone. He released my arm as I started to walk away again, and never looked back.

Ms. Lucile told us to play volleyball today for our PE class. Lia, Kat and I separated from our other classmates and had our own game. We picked the place near the locker room so we could skip class if we wanted to. It would just be thrilling to ditch class cuz the faculty room is just a few steps away from our place.
Hey hey hey. Look who's coming. Kat said, making Lia and I turn our heads to where she was looking at. My eyes suddenly narrowed upon realizing who they were.
After that scene in the cafeteria, I didn't know they're in speaking terms again.
Now that's new. Something you didn't know. She chuckled.
I have an idea. I said as we continued playing. James greeted me as they drew near us, and I half-smiled at him. Yza gave me a small smile and I could only laugh inside my head with the plan I came up with.
The two went inside the faculty room while I told the girls about my plan. They agreed, of course, discussing how can they make `it` more natural. Lol. We played again and just as the two came out of the room, the plan has started.
Jas, watch out! Lia shouted, and that's my cue. She spiked the ball so hard, while I answered with an unsteady but forceful spike of my own - making it land on the face of my goal.
*BLAAAAAGGG!*
Yza, are you okay?!!? James shrieked as he helped that biatch get up from the floor.
Now where did that come from?! He shouted, looking everywhere. He then found me looking at them, grinning evilly and showing off my glistening set of teeth.
Hey hey hey. Now this is what you call action. :)
